Spelling 1-2 App Reviews

My 7 year loves this game! It has helped her with her weekly spelling words. (which you can type in each week). Colorful characters sing and dance when they get 5 words correct and there are many prizes to help them want to get them all right. I hope they come out with a game for addition and subtraction, and then multiplication and division. Great game!

My 1st grader really likes using this to help with spelling words for each week and it seems to have improved their spelling. It could be fantastic wiith the ability to store each weeks word and better tracking. It would be worth the $10 if these were added.

This program is good but needs to update the personal word list to input more than 20 words. It should be customized to the user. The created word list I created with my daughters school list, does not show up in the game.

My son likes to play this game but he sometimes gets words from schopol with hyphens and contractions. There is no way to enter special characters. This is very frustrating for me since this does cost a lot of money for what it does.

This App is great! My 3rd grader spends hours on it with no complaints. :-) I love how he can use his spelling list from school.

It fits in perfect with our homeschool curriculum because you can make your own custom spelling list which I think 20 at a time is perfect. My first and second grader love it!

Its a slow moving overpriced pixelated mess, with gimmicks that wont appeal to anyone but the most sheltered child with the oldest computer and no concept of what modern software can be like, that I wish I had never downloaded. What a terrible waste of money. Im insulted to see this crap being allowed here by Apple. To others I say review my name. I have never posted a negative review until today. I want my money back!

This was totally worth the price tag. My six year old ASKS to play it every day. What a motivator!

This is a great game, my kids love learning their spelling words using this app. The only down side is that I can not save settings, wordlists, etc for multiple users. They play this several times a week (and day), each time we switch users, the others progress, word list, rewards are lost. It is a dissappointment for the kids. Hopefully a version 2 will address this. Id pay more for this app with those added features.

OSX 10.9.1 and this open does not open.. Was working fine now does not open.

My daughters test scores have gone up dramatically after we started implementing this fun spelling app into our daily routine. Would definitely recommend to others and its works great on my MAC.

We looked everywhere for an app that could handle weekly spelling lists. This is by far the best! Most words are in the database and the animated rewards are a great deal of fun. Cannot wait for more school zone apps… Really wanting Math 4 (hint, hint)
